Noch ziemlich aus den Anfängen von MRCE stammt die 185 563 - aktuell ist diese Lok für Eccorail unterwegs und fuhr mir bei Treuchtlingen mit einem Kesselwagenzug nach München vor die Linse.

Nach mehrmonatiger Fotopause ging es am 4. Februar 2018 mal wieder an die Strecke. Bei Nettingsdorf an der Pyhrnbahn konnte Cityjet 4744 563 als S4 nach Kirchdorf an der Krems abgelichtet werden.

LSWR Adams T3 rounds the bend at Woodyhyde, between Harmans Cross and Corfe Castle. The final train from Swanage of the steam gala, which was blessed with some excellent spring weather. Interesting to see that this 1890s veteran was on six coach trains all weekend with no issues, the guys at Swanage have clearly got her running well following the fantastic restoration job. Taken using a step ladder next to the railway fence, from ground level the rails are not visible at this spot, where the line enters a cutting before passing under the main road to Swanage.
By the expression on her face, I could tell that Keighley was surprised by my request. She checked that I had asked to take her photo. I repeated my question. It had been over 2 years since I had taken my last stranger photo, so I was very pleased when Keighley said yes.
I offered my hand and my name. Keighley took it and gave me her name. By the time we sat down for the photos I wasn’t sure if her name was Keighley or not but thankfully I had remembered it OK.
Today she had popped out from the dental practice to do their bankings; making the most of the sunshine. Keighley enjoys walking. She said that she likes to walk up mountains and had been to Scafell Pike. I said that I had been up Helvellyn and Snowdon; admitting that we hadn’t got to the top of Snowdon because we weren’t prepared for the ice and gale force winds at the summit. Keighley said that she would like to go there.
We sat down on a bench in some shade. I took a few photos and thanked Keighley before she headed back to work.
