Am 12.2. fuhr ich auf der Rückfahrt von Hof nach Hause einen kurzen Umweg durch Tschechien. Die Suche im Fahrplan ergab einen zeitnahen Zug auf der Strecke zwischen Aš und Hranice.
Auf der Strecke fährt täglich leider nur noch ein Zugpaar😫 Hier zu sehen ist der 810 548 in Krásná.

May 27, 2013. Chorzów. Poland. The electric locomotive ET21-548 hauling a freight train from Chorzów Batory to Krzeszowice.
Seit Tagen herrscht ein phantastisches Frühlingswetter, einzig die Temperaturen sind noch nicht so angenehm. Aber bekanntlich gibt es nur schlechte Kleidung.
So beschloss ich nach Feierabend nochmal nach Mettmann Drienhausen zu fahren und den abendlichen Kalkzug aufzunehmen. Einer Sichtungsmeldung aus Düsseldorf Rath war zu vernehmen, dass TKSE 548 gegen 16:30 Uhr mit einem leeren Kalkzug richtung Dornap-Hahnenfurth gefahren ist. Perfekt dachte ich mir, liegt die Fotostelle doch genau auf dem Weg ins zweite zu Hause. Gegen 18:30 Uhr wurde der Auslöser betätigt und TKSE 548 rollte bei Mettmann Drienhausen mit ihrem Kalkzug bergab gen Düsseldorf Gerresheim. Im Hintergrund ist das Kalkwerk Dornap zu sehen, von wo der Kalkzug kurz vorher gestartet war.

A somewhat (perhaps) boring story about the recycling system in Hammarö/Sweden.
1. Food waste (extra snowballs on the bin, here!). Stored in small compostable paper bags (being a single person household I maybe produce around two small bags every week (so the bin is massively oversized for my use). Being picked up by the garbage truck every 2 weeks.
2. Everything that's left over after sorting out:
Paper packaging.
Plastic packaging.
Metal packaging.
Glass packaging (sorted as colored and uncolored).
Being picked up by the garbage truck every 4 weeks.
At this moment we have to take the above by our selfes to the recycling station. Plans are that we will be able to sort and dispose of them in various bins at home, and having them picked up by the garbage truck, as well.
And btw, the garbage trucks are totally automized, the driver never gets out of the truck. The emptying is totally done remotely from inside the truck.
But it's my responsibility to put the bins "in position" by the road when it's time for emptying.
It would be interesting to know how this process is working where you live :-) Please share if you want!
