For the Reading Buses Open Day in June 2019, around 30 buses were moved from the depot to an adjoining public car park to create space for the annual charity event. At the end of the event the buses were gradually moved back into the depot and my shots capture a selection of them in the temporary bus park.

Today (16/04/2018) was the start of a new era for the Aldershot-Reading bus route 7 as the service was split into two parts. Stagecoach South recently sold the northern part of the route to Reading Buses who now run from Reading to Fleet Station via Hartley Wintney whereas Stagecoach are to continue with the Aldershot-Hartley Wintney/Phoenix Green via Fleet town centre section.
The first two Reading Buses services were worked by recently acquired former Blackpool Dennis Trident / East Lancs Lolynes 534 X399KBV (ex E16BTS) followed an hour later by 535 X401KBV (ex E18BTS).
Here, 535 X401KBV pauses in Hartley Wintney with the second service to Fleet of the new era.
Both buses were new to Isle of Man Transport as MAN93F in 2000 and FMN540E in 2001 respectively.
