Last year I thought I killed this plant. I put the pot outside all winter. I brought it in last spring and planted something else in the pot, and lo and behold, it came back from the dead!

Yesterday it snowed for the first time this winter, but it was not much. I hope there will be more snow soon. It is so dark without the snow!
Im Moment gefallen mir die FlickrFriday-Themen irgendwie nicht besonders, darum gibt es jetzt mal wieder ein völlig mottofreies Bild. Ganz eventuell mache ich auch noch eins zum Thema der Woche, aber ich weiß es noch nicht. Ehe Murks herauskommt, verzichte ich lieber darauf.

I went out in the forrest, following a little creek, where I used to fish (Brown trout) when I was young. It was a lot of mosquitos there, but it is an fascinating landscape.
My husband and I bought a trailer last September. We finally got to take it camping in May. This summer he and I have gone on many adventures together in it, wine touring, hanging out in the water, reading books.. this evening was the goldest golden hour I have seen in my life. We were in awe. I use this for the theme holidays as camping and travelling around our province has been our holidays.
Seit ein paar Tagen friert es zumindest nachts ein bisschen, auch wenn ich das noch nicht wirklich WInter nennen würde. Während die eine Hälfte der Welt erfriert und es in anderen Teilen der Welt so trocken ist wie nie oder aber es Schlammlawinen und Überschwemmungen gibt, ist es hier fast durchgängig grau und mild. Immer wenn ich mich über das graue Matschwetter beschweren will, denke ich daran, dass grauer Matsch immerhin nichts Lebensbedrohliches ist und freue mich lieber über unser "langweiliges" Klima. Und manchmal guckt ja sogar die Sonne vorbei, so wie heute.
Mike & I drove 3 hours to go see the St. Joseph North Pier Lighthouse as we heard it was frozen over. It was well worth the extreme cold and the drive. If you get the chance to go see it while it's frozen, I'd run (drive) and go do it!

Mal wieder eine Woche voller Arbeit, die kaum Zeit für das Wochenfoto ließ. Vor allem bedauere ich ja, dass ich den Schnee dadurch verpasst habe. Dabei hatte ich so tolle Ideen...
