There were at least a dozen Muskrats at this farm property we stayed at. In the grasses and then into the pond. What a life!

Heute mal einen unserer schönsten Schmetterlinge, den ich am Mittwoch in Diefenbach am Natterkopf gesehen habe. Es ist unglaublich schön so einen großen Schmetterling fliegen zu sehen. Leider ist er heute bei uns nur noch sehr selten und einzeln anzutreffen. In meiner Kindheit waren noch viele Raupen an den Möhren im Gemüsegarten und wir Jungs haben dann einige Raupen im eigenen "Labor" gefüttert und die Verwandlung von Raupe bis zum Schmetterling beobachten können. Ein nie vergessenes Erlebnis.

TENACIOUS (IMO: 1005679) is a Sailing Vessel that was built in 2000 (24 years ago) and is sailing under the flag of United Kingdom.
Her length overall (LOA) is 65 meters and her width is 10.6 meters.
I spent a good 20 minutes trying to pin down this representative from a small flock of Bushtits, darting about growth along the lake edge trail. Note I said "darting about" not "darting in and out". They didn't really do "out" except to fly off to the next location. This would be a male, with the dark eyes.

BYZ 5261 descends Royal Oak Way Daventry, with an afternoon school contract. The Dennis Trident/Plaxton president was previosuly registered SN04 AAX.
Switching at the former IC yard in Council Bluffs is this SD40-2W. Something unusual caught my eye when looking at it as she has flares. Research shows that 5261 (along with 5258) are two retrofitted diesel locomotives that can run on LNG using conversion kits supplied by Energy Conversions Inc. (ECI) of Tacoma, Wash.
