Quilt Story: Quilter John Willard began his course "Spontaneous Geometrics" at the Thames Institute of the Arts in Chatham, by requiring participants to make practice squares. John used these squares to demonstrate ideas and techniques. The quilt resulting from these squares was titled "Comfort Cabins." The participants offer this quilt in honour of John who has had his own cancer encounter, and in the hope that our combined efforts will contribute in some small way to the Quilt Project.
