The only picture I have of a Cravens in inter city blue and grey livery. I am fairly confident this is 51475, making up a 3 car with Metro Cammell 59560 and another Cravens motor coach, 51483 in rail blue.
My notes for that week in Scotland say that all of 51473/474/475/476/480 were blue and grey, whereas all of 51479/481/483 were plain blue. I also saw 51477 but my notes are ambiguous on that one!
And it has the home of the Blue Brazil on the destination blind.

I don`t have a note of the number of the Metro Cammell unit in the middle unfortunately.

Troncones Jan 2006 - I first went to Troncones in December 2000. My grandmother heard about the town from one of her surfer buddies, and I think my dad came across Casa Escondida during an internet search. La casa is a little less escondida now. There are signs both on the beach side and on the road side, but Troncones is still a pretty sleepy place even during the high season as these photos attest. The group has varied every year. This year there were only 5 of us: Julie, myself, my sister Megan and my parents. To keep track of the trips I put together the Troncones log. After 5 years we have the routine well figured out: sleep in, walk on the beach, bodysurf, cook and eat breakfast, lounge around during the heat of the day, head back to the ocean, cocktail hour, dinner, and bed. Mmmm. It's really a do-nothing vacation, and we love it.

By Clayton & Bell.
Clayton & Bell (1855-1993).
The company was founded in London by John Richard Clayton (1827-1913) and Alfred Bell (1832-1895). Within a few years the firm occupied a leading place in stained glass design and manufacture. They were one of the most prolific and proficient workshops of English stained glass during the latter half of the 19th century.
By the 1860s they were established in large premises in Regent Street with 300 employees. During the 1860s and 1870s night shifts were worked in order to fulfil commissions. The company was also producing decorative schemes and murals for churches.
In the 1880s the two founders withdrew from active participation. The firm continued under Alfred Bell’s son, John Clement Bell (1860–1944), then under Reginald Otto Bell (1884–1950) and lastly Michael Farrar-Bell (1911–93) until his death.

Thanks to the thoughtful and generous introduction from Hugh Dubberly (SML Wiki), I met up with Paul Pangaro at his place, where I enjoyed a delightful and inspiring conversation about his philosophies.
I had problems keeping track of all the topics discussed on my Moleskine, and so it was wonderful that Paul sent notes, links and references back to me as an email as we speak. SML Thank You
