Eclipse sun reflections on driveway! Looked like little crescents. We only saw partial eclipse in Central Florida

I was informed that a trio of the MK50s was making its way west on the Kyle I figured it would be worthwhile to make the trip down for the afternoon. Initially I found the train tied at Agra and after a bit of waiting the crew showed up to take it to Phillipsburg in the last hour of light.
A new KCS tier 4 leads a Westbound empty through Louisville. A couple decades ago and the power would be slamming the diamond with the Mo-Pac headed from Omaha to Lincoln.

D&H 5004 leads a pair of GP39-2's on an Eastbound freight on the Southern Tier at Swain, NY on February 24, 1980. I was trying out one of the new high speed Ektachrome's, not sure if it was 200 or 400 speed. The day was abysmal and started out in Binghamton. We got the one and only D&H train that was going to run that day and headed back West towards home. We got a Conrail train working at Baker Street in Corning, then intercepted this train coming into Dalton. We got a couple pics, here at Swain, and again at Canseraga, then called it quits. Some days you could put on a lot of miles with very little to show for it, but that is part of the hobby.
