Nothing warms up color like the late afternoon sun! These tulips have a pink hue in cloudy weather and a more orange glow in the sun.

Las cámaras pasearon con nosotros a lo largo de toda la costa de Ytri Tunga.
La ilusión por ver focas, sin embargo, se fue evaporando arrastrada por el sempiterno viento islandés...
Elucubramos todo lo que nos apeteció acerca de la aplastante ausencia de focas...
Y es que nosotros cuando nos ponemos a elaborar teorías somos de un creativo que no veas...
Que si puede que no sea época de celo o que quizás vienen aquí cuando ya están criando y tampoco toca, que a lo mejor el cambio climático ha modificado sus costumbres, que si ahora criarán en Gibraltar, que bliblí, que blablá...
Y lo creíbles que nos resultaban todas nuestras hipótesis, oiga... Somos taaaan cultos!
Entretenidos en nuestras elucubraciones científicas fuimos recorriendo la orilla hasta llegar al otro extremo de la playa de Ytri Tunga. No encontramos focas pero disfrutamos de un paseo fantástico y una conversación muy entretenida... (y disparatada, claro)

Two USAF Air Demonstration Squadron F-16Cs (Thunderbirds 5 and 6) perform the calypso pass at the 2017 Melbourne Air and Space show. Thunderbird 5 always performs the inverted part of the calypso pass and generally spends so much time upside down during the show that the number "5" is also inverted so it appears normal in photographs.
I had trouble taming the noise monster on this one as I compensated for very unfavorable light. I should have shot in RAW but wasn't sure the buffer on the D7200 would hold up. Realistically, however, it doesn't take a gazillion shots - just a handful at the exact right time. Still learning as always!

Marstrand is a seaside locality on the Swedish west-coast. It had 1,319 inhabitants in 2010 and has held city privileges since 1200. The most striking feature about Marstrand is the 17th-century fortress Carlsten, named after King Carl X Gustav of Sweden. The town got its name from its location on the island Marstrandsön.
During the last quarter of the 18th century Marstrand had the free port status, granted by the King Gustav III. Marstrand is a popular sailing resort in summer time with many sailing competitions.
