Sandy Point/Abaco National Park / South Abaco Island, The Bahamas
In South Abaco Island the road to Sandy Point touches briefly with Abaco National Park and it was here that our group spent some time looking for warblers in the pines. And at this location there were plenty of Atala Hairstreaks to look at and take photos of. It is a striking butterfly as you can see and is a new life butterfly for me. But it is also very distasteful for other wildlife to feed on.
If you would like to read more about this unusual butterfly, check out the following:

Space is a field of light-flowers blooming in between matter and emptiness, connecting duality and oneness.

The weather has been crazy windy up in Scotland recently, and a lot of trees have blown over...
How considerate of them, providing Callie with an excellent photo prop! ;)
#1 although not in his hand.... this manuscript shows the famous rhythm from the very beginning of the masterpiece... " manuscript score for the Fifth Symphony, Opus 67, in several hands [between 1808-1822] "
much neater i'll say ;-) from the hands of copyists dated from the year the work was complete, 1808, before the 1st edition printed publication in 1826, the year before his death 1827...
this symphony #5 was one of the five(5) works he sold to a publisher for a mere 100 ducats (~450 gulden, cut down by the publisher from 700 gulden with the addition of the Mass in C score, although it had been about 1/6 of his annual salary offered for the position as kapellmeister of kassel)... see below for a photo on a 10 gulden bank note as included in the exhibits...

"It was the dawn of the third age of mankind – ten years after the Earth-Minbari War. The Babylon Project was a dream given form. Its goal: to prevent another war by creating a place where humans and aliens could work out their differences peacefully. It's a port of call – home away from home – for diplomats, hustlers, entrepreneurs, and wanderers. Humans and aliens wrapped in two million five hundred thousand tons of spinning metal… all alone in the night. It can be a dangerous place, but it's our last best hope for peace. This is the story of the last of the Babylon stations. The year is 2258. The name of the place is Babylon 5."
My first go at any kind of Lego creation in this size, I'm pretty pleased with how it looks. More pictures tomorrow, in the mean time, any comments or criticisms are very much appreciated.
