At 5:04pm (ET) Wednesday (6/29), SpaceX launched the SES-22 payload atop Falcon9 booster B1073.
Cloudy skies made for a moody backdrop as the rocket thundered off the pad.
Views from the pad were captured with sound-activated cameras.

A day at Blackpool started with a visit to the depot. Please note that some shots from this day have already been posted on my site - these are the remainder.
1951 built Leyland PD2/5- Burlingham No. 298 sits outside the depot on 26/6/72. It was converted for PW use in 1969 and was used until 1975 - it is now preserved.
5 minutes would have been nice, but it was more like 5 hours. 228 cools its heels while it waits until the NS in Bellevue to take it, creating a domino effect and bringing the west end of the railroad to a standstill. In all 4 trains are parked waiting to move. And none would until about sundown. And not to mention it was nice to be able to see the former WC 6003 again.
I was taking pics of the pages of a book, using a macro lens, and I liked the way this turned out - very abstract-y
Finally, from the roof of Africa, mission accomplished! After 5 days, I've successfully summited Kilimanjaro. This was the view from the top, the quickly shrinking southfield, with Mount Meru in the Background.
Didn't expect to see this at a VW show... Great to see though, not sure I've seen one close up before.
I can't get a DVLA result on this; the make seems to have been entered as Renault 5 Turbo 2 according to Cartell.

Week 5
Well, this week was easily the hardest one so far. It took about eight hours to gather everything and set it all up. That doesn't even include making the clouds- which I had been making over the course of the week. The rain machine worked perfect. I am so ridiculously happy I made it and can't wait to use it again. In all, the shoot was pretty exhausting. I finally finished around midnight by the time everything was wrapped up and cleaned. I would say it was worth it. Like previous work, most of what you see in this picture is not post production. It is a designed set. I wore a bathing suit and changed shirts three times. It was a tad bit hilarious.

An abstract shot of the cafe inside Galeries Lafayette, Berlin, really liked the shapes and colours in this one.
Excuse the primary school maths based title pun!

Shot on Ilford Delta 400 film (at 250ASA), processed in Xtol 1:1.
Camera: Hasselblad with the 150Mmm Sonnar lens, and a Proxar close-up filter.
I shot both the Kodak TMY and Ilford Delta 400 to compare these two similarly formulated films. I like the tonal distribution of the Ilford Delta a TINY bit more, but otherwise these are very similar films, and both a spectacular.
The Bates Manufacturing Company was established in Lewiston, Maine in 1850 by Benjamin Bates. It quickly became one of the largest textile manufacturers in New England and transformed Lewiston from a struggling agricultural town into a booming industrial city. By 1857, the Bates Mill in Lewiston ran 36,000 spindles, employed 1,000 hands, and annually turned out 5.7 million yards of the best quality of cotton goods. Even after winning multiple achievements and awards for his textiles, including “Best Pantaloon Stuffs” and “Best Plain and Fancy Cotton Fabrics”, Bates wanted more. Accordingly, in 1858 the Bates Manufacturing Company wove the first Bates bedspread.
Upon the start of the Civil War, most New England mills started selling their cotton stock, assuming that the war would only last 90 days. Instead, Benjamin Bates bought as much cotton as he could find (despite the skyrocketing prices) and became the main supplier of Union textiles during the 4 year war. Even afterward, despite post-war depression, the Bates Manufacturing Company prospered and continued to expand. It was at this time that the French-Canadian population began to immigrate to Lewiston for work; even today the city of Lewiston continues to have a great French-Canadian influence (and many of the current mill workers have French-Canadian ancestors that began their American lives as mill workers).[Company website].
Lewiston is also the home of Bates College co-founded by Benjamin Bates.
I hope that you enjoy the photo!

The Cajasol Tower (Spanish: Torre Cajasol) is an office skyscraper under construction in Seville, Spain, that is being built under the masterplan of Puerto Triana. The tower started its construction in March 2008 and it is expected to be finished the first trimester of 2013. The tower will have a height of 180.5 metres (592 ft) and have 40 floors. The floors of the tower will have an office usage. The tower, built as Cajasol's headquarters, will be the tallest building in Andalusia and the city of Seville.
The tower will be built in La Cartuja, the former zone of the Universal Exposition that took place in Seville between April and October 1992, located next to the river that is being renewed since the early 2000s. There will be two commercial buildings designed by César Pelli flanking the skyscraper. The entrance to the tower will be located at the Odiel street.
It had been reported that UNESCO was considering putting the Seville's monuments which are classified as World Heritage Sites (the Cathedral, Alcazar and Archivo de Indias) into the "Threatened List", because of the tower's “negative visual impact” on the old town skyline of Seville.[1] However, these proposals were discarded in the UNESCO meeting of Saint Petersburg

22.07.2021 ||Wismar|| 232 347-5 z Bw Rostock oczekuje na zestawienie swojego pociągu w porcie w Wismarze.
Towarzystwo w swoich zbiorach posiada m.in. dwuosiowe popularne niemieckie manewrówki serii Kö II z 1933 i 1961 roku, 4 pojazdy z fabryki wagonów w Wismarze (fabryka działała w latach 1894 - 1947, produkowała m.in. wagonowy motorowe, wagony osobowe, doczepy oraz tramwaje) - szkielet wagonu motorowego VT 133 010 z 1933 roku, 2 wagony doczepy dwuosiowe z roku 1939 oraz wagon osobowy typu Ci-30 z 1930 roku.
