It's rather pleasing to see a low spec Capri in original condition, right down to the wheels and exhaust. So many were messed up in the 80s and 90s. I currently seem to be having more luck coming across interesting cars driving along, rather than parked up! The LS was second from bottom spec, and has the 1.6 engine. I can't imagine there being too many of the tiny 1.3s left!
That's the full description off Cartell - not a designation of Capri that rings a bell with me.
Seems bizarre that something like this would be fitted with a 4 speed 'box - today's equivalent would probably be at least 6...

The Toyota Sera (model designation EXY10) is a 3-door 2+2 hatchback coupe manufactured and marketed by Toyota from 1990 to 1996.

1991 Lada Niva engine running. I took it for a little driveway drive. I realized its a 4spd. I thought it was a 5spd but the 4spd is actually stronger. The BWA alloy wheels look really good on it. Thinking about selling it so I can get the rest of the work done on the white one but it runs really good. Hmmm ... I really don't need two though.
The Mk III Capri was produced by Ford between 1978 and 1986. A524 DGX seen here as entrant 014 on the London to Brighton Historic Car Run was a 1983 Ford Capri LS 4SPD.
One of 141 left, quite a drop in numbers from 1.2k in 2001, especially as they were already old at that time - you'd think they would have been in the right hands at that point.

A neighbour's Mk3 Escort which I used to wash for pocket money in my early teens. I'd forgotten it was a 4spd. It was quite rough when they bought it, but they had work carried out to replace the driver's door, front wings and front bumper. It was actually looking quite smart by the time they sold it!

The replacement for the Escort was a Mk3 Cavalier, which in turn was replaced by a Mk4 Astra estate, which is now owned by my Grandmother...
