04-05 Stock internal K24a2 with a 50* vtc gear and bolt ons compared to a 06 K24a2 with 12.5:1 88mm pistons, 4piston rr4 cams and supporting valvetrain. Both with a RBC intake manifold and throttle body upgrade, and on 93 pump gas, same dyno, same tuner.
The K23 is a fully built engine running on E85 with skunk ultra 4 cams, 4piston cnc head with a 89x90 stroked engine. compared to my 88x99 93 pump gas 4piston rr4 cammed engine. Both engines at 12.5:1 compression, same dyno, same tuner.
back to back pulls, skunk2 ultra race manifold is tuned to this engine and the ktuned side feed was not tuned due to it being quite obvioius it performs better on this application. Skunk2 ultra race had a 4piston cnc port job that matched the pro 156 4piston cnc port job on the head of this K series engine.
