World Cancer Day is an international day marked on February 4 to raise awareness of cancer and to encourage its prevention, detection, and treatment. World Cancer Day was founded by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) to support the goals of the World Cancer Declaration, written in 2008. The primary goal of World Cancer Day is to significantly reduce illness and death caused by cancer and is an opportunity to rally the international community to end the injustice of preventable suffering from cancer. World Cancer Day targets misinformation, raises awareness, and reduces stigma. Multiple initiatives run on World Cancer Day to show support for those affected by cancer. One of these movements is #NoHairSelfie, a global movement to have "hairticipants" shave their heads either physically or virtually to show a symbol of courage for those undergoing cancer treatment.
Pridesys IT family celebrates this day with respect to the cancer effected and wishes them a healthy and happy life.

Mark Lane station was opened on 6 October 1884 by the Metropolitan Railway (MET) and the Metropolitan District Railway (MDR). It replaced Tower of London station to the east which closed on 13 October 1884.
The station was renamed Tower Hill on 1 September 1946 and was finally closed on 4 February 1967.
A replacement Tower Hill station opened west of here, more or less on the original Tower of London station site, on 5 February 1967.

We went to see The King's Speech – which despite being about ostensibly dry subjects like royalty and speech therapy, was actually rather good – here at Greenwich Picturehouse (just up the road from Edith's workplace, where a tiny bit of it was filmed!) tonight. It's great having such a comfortable cinema so near where we live now!
