Burrow Mump is a hill and historic site overlooking Southlake Moor in the village of Burrowbridge within the English county of Somerset. It is a scheduled monument, with the ruined church on top of the hill a Grade II listed building.
The hill stands at a strategic location overlooking the point where the River Tone and the old course of the River Cary join the River Parrett. Although there is some evidence of Roman visitation, the first fortification of the site was the construction of a Norman motte. (wikipedia)

L'artiste Angela Atuesta, alias La Negra est l'une des invitées du festival Latino Graff, implanté à Toulouse depuis 2016. Pour l'édition 2022 sur le thème de la culture Afro, elle réalise sur un mur quartier Croix de Pierre, une peinture de 10 mètres de long sur une hauteur de 5 mètres représentant une femme africaine portant une charge sur les épaules.

Der farbenfrohe Girlitz ist die kleinste Finkenart hierzulande. Auch dieses Foto entstand in meinem Garten und gehört wohl zu den Dingen, die man tut wenn man wegen einer Pandemie nicht weg kann. Ich hatte die letzten Wochen bemerkt, dass dieses Girlitz Männchen öfter mal auf diesem tief hängendem Ast zwischenlandet um zu schauen ob die Luft am Futterspender rein ist. Also habe ich mich etwas versteckt auf einem Stuhl positioniert und gewartet. Zweimal flog er oben in die Fichte und verschwand aber beim dritten Anflug (nach 45 Minuten) passierte es dann. Er landete auf dem besagten Ast und blieb lange genug für eine kleine Bildreihe dort sitzen. Der Abstand war etwas weniger als 4m. Nebeneffekt: eine Dreiviertelstunde die Kamera mit Teleobjektiv im ungefähren Anschlag halten spart einem das Fitnesstudio. Da sag noch mal einer, Fotografieren sei kein Sport....
Um das Bild besonders detailreich sehen zu können, drückt die Tasten l (kleines L) und F11. Beim vergrößern nur durch anklicken gehen viele Details verloren.
The colourful Serin is the smallest finch here. This picture was taken in my garden. It is one of those things you do when you can go nowhere because of a pandemic. I noticed in the last weeks that this male Serin quite often used a particular low branch to check whether it was safe to proceed to the bird feeder. Hence I positioned myself on a chair close to it and waited. Two times it landed in the top of the tree and flew away but on the third time it came down, landed on this branch and stayed there so that I could take some photographs. Distance was less than 13 feet. Side effect: holding the camera with tele lens for 45 minutes at about the ready saves you from going to the gym. Don't let anybody tell you photography ain't no sport...

INCO GP38-4M 2007, rebuilt from a C&NW GP35, crosses a fill as it is seen returning from the Frood-Stobie Mine near Sprecher Ontario.
Nördlich der Gemeinde Emmersdorf liegt anschliessend das 120-Seelen-Dorf Hofamt (GM Emmersdorf, ME). An der Landesstrasse 7151 nach Reith steht dieser etwa 4m hohe wuchtige ziegelgemauerte spätgotische Tabernakelpfeiler. Er ruht in 263m SH im alten Ried "Gartenäcker" auf einem quadratischen Grundfundament auf dem sich der im Querschnitt quadratische Pfeiler erhebt. Er hat unterhalb einen hohen würfelförmigen Fussblock mit quadratischen seichten inhaltlosen Kartuschen. Darauf dem ein stark gefaster achtseitiges Mittelstück. Alle acht Seiten des Mittelstückes werden durch breite Zungen ober- wie auch unterhalb begrenzt. Am Mittelstück direkt aufliegend ein würfelförmiger Tabernakel der an zwei Seiten viereckige seichte gefaschte Nischen hat. In der vorderen Nische ein reliefiertes polychromes Kruzifix, in der linken Nische ein polychromes Marienbild. Am Tabernakel eine quadratische Dachplatte die unterhalb gestuft ist. Geschützt wird der Tabernakelpfeiler durch ein erneuertes ziegelgedecktes Zeltdach. Bekrönend am First ein unterhalb leicht verziertes eisernes Doppelkreuz, ein Seuchenkreuz. Er ist wahrscheinlich der Pestpfeiler des Ortes zur Pest von 1521 und 1529.

Am südöstlichen Ortsende von Grossstelzendorf (GM Göllersdorf, HL) steht an der Hollabrunnerstrasse, der L 1105, diese etwa 4m hohe Mariensäule aus Sandstein. Sie ruht in 207m SH im Ried "Im Ebenfeld" auf einem schrägen Grundfundament auf dem sich ein nach obenhin gestufter Fussblock befindet. Auf diesem ein quaderförmiges Postament das an der Vorderseite eine viereckige gravierte Kartusche mit eingezogenen Ecken zeigt. Der Stiftertext ist vom Streusalz total verfressen und ist heute unlesbar. Am Postament eine überkragende Deckplatte die unterhalb mehrfach gestuft ist. Auf der Deckplatte ein quadratischer Säulensockel auf der sich eine einfach toskanische Säule befindet, die nach obenhin sich leicht verjüngt. Sie Säule hat unterhalb einen einfachen Basalring und oberhalb einen Säulenwulst. Darunter ein kurzes Halsstück mit einem Zwischenring. Auf der Säule ein getreppter Abakus auf dem die Figur der Hl.Maria Immaculata sich befindet. Sie steht betend auf der Weltkugel und zertritt mit einem Fuss die Schlange die sich um den Erdball windet. Die Schlange symbolisiert die Erbsünde. Ihren goldenen Sternenkranz hat sie schon vor vielen Jahren verloren. Früher standen zu beiden Seiten der Statue je ein hoher Baum die es heute nicht mehr gibt daher auch die starke Schräglage der Säule. Der Stiftername und das Stiftungsjahr sind am Postament nicht mehr lesbar.

Nördlich des 240-Seelen-Dorfes Mitterretzbach (GM Retzbach, HL) steht an der Kaffeegasse, der L 1027, und der Abzweigung zum alten Fussweg zur Wallfahrtskirche "Unsere Liebe Frau vom Stein" dieser etwa 4m hohe Breitpfeiler der der Hl.Anna geweiht ist. Er gehört zu den sieben spätbarocken übergiebelten Bildstöcken die entlang des Weges zur Wallfahrtskirche als Betstationen stehen. Die Wallfahrtskirche musste unter Kaiser Josef II. auf Grund seines Erlasses abgerissen werden. Der Breitpfeiler steht in 292m SH im Ried "Heidbergen" auf einem rechteckigen Grundfundament auf dem der Bildstock aufgemauert ist. Er hat im unteren Bereich ein ovale Blendnische mit Schulterbögen ober- und unterhalb. Darüber ein breiter gekehlter Sims. Oberhalb eine tiefe Rundbogennische in der ein an der Rückwand auf Holz gemaltes Bild "Hl.Anna lehrt Maria das Lesen" zu sehen ist. Unterhalb ein kurzes Bittgebet: "HEILIGE ANNA BITTE FÜR UNS". Über Anna zwei geflügelte Puttis. Zu beiden Seiten der Nische sind Pilaster angebracht, Halbsäulen mit Basis, Schaft und Kapitell, die mit der Mauer verbunden sind. In den beiden seitlichen Bildstockwänden sind seichte Rundbogenblendnischen zu sehen. Über der Nische ein profiliertes Gesims, darüber ein profilierter Dreiecksgiebel ohne Inhalt. Geschützt wird der Bildstock durch ein ziegelgedecktes Satteldach. Am First ein eisernes Doppelkreuz. Diese Bildstöcke lassen sich auf Grund der Pfarrchronik von Retz und auf alten Landkarten bis mindestens 1740 zurückverfolgen. Das barocke Originalbild aus der Nische ist auf Blech gemalt und wird in der Gemeinde aufbewahrt. Neben der alten abgebrochenen Wallfahrtskirche befindet sich der "Heilige Stein", ein prähistorischer Schalenstein dem Wunderheilungen nach gesagt wurden. In der Nähe noch eine kleine Kapelle und ein heilsames Bründl.

The trio of new Neoplan Tourliner P20 C53FT 13.4m coaches for Trueman's of Ash Vale are now in Surrey with J400TRU joining J18TRU and J200TRU at the end of April 2019.
MAN did their best to create some confusion as J18TRU was initially plated up as J400TRU until the error was rectified before the delivery run.
I recently bought a Kiev 4M, built in 1980, which is quite new for a camera which was built for the first time in the 1930's.
