This belongs to a friend who purchased it in 2008 when it had covered less than 30,000 miles.
At the last MOT it had covered 154,000 and covers 10,000+ each year. It's done many trips to Spain and will go from Cornwall to the Spanish border on a tank of diesel. He maintains it well as can be seen from its excellent MOT history and is completely reliable. It's the only AX I see regularly on the road now.
Possibly the most economical production car ever made in terms of both fuel consumption and ownership costs. Bangernomics at it's best.
