A script no one saw coming,
but 12059 Jan Shatabdi delivered it frame by frame - raw, powerful, cinematic. 🎬🚆
On a diverted route carved through Rajasthan’s untamed heart,
it stormed into the state’s longest rail tunnel at Lalsot -
with Gandhidham’s WDG4G #49412 leading like a warhorse,
and TKD’s HOG WAP7 #30456 riding dead, yet dignified.
The electrics fell silent,
but the journey roared louder.
Through curves soaked in monsoon,
through valleys that echoed diesel thunder -
this wasn’t just a diversion,
it was an epic... with diesel ink and mountain verses. ️⚡️

A tree lined path in the woods at Redcastle takes you down to several interesting ruins. These include a Victorian Ice House, a ruined greenhouse and other buildings related to the estate. The path itself is lined by massive trees on the downhill side, including the oaks and beech you can see here. On the uphill side are some other tall trees, interspersed with Holly, which arches over to create and almost covered walkway. There is Ivy growing on some them, with branches the thickness of my leg.
The geotag is wrong, it should be NH 58670 49412.

Not everything passing by is a big ship. Sometimes small vessels pass, by like this US Coast Guard boat heading down the St Clair River River.

The Grade II Listed Queens Arcade in Leeds West Yorkshire.
It was the second shopping arcade to open in Leeds. Built in 1888 on the site of the former Rose and Crown Yard, the arcade was named in honour of Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee. London architect and arcade expert Edward Clark injected Victorian splendour into his designs, which was originally home to a hotel. The arcade was refurbished in 1993, but still retains many of its original features. There is a fretted glass ceiling, iron arches and charming balconies snaking the length of the arcade.

LEBANON: Refugees Remain Sceptical of Nahr al-Bared Reconstruction
NAHR AL-BARED, Lebanon, Nov 25, 2009 (IPS) - More than two years after their refugee camp was destroyed in a war between the Lebanese army and the Islamist militant group Fatah al-Islam, Nahr al-Bared refugees Wednesday witnessed the start of the camp’s reconstruction. Their relief is mixed with scepticism, however.
