More Texas Hill Country wildflowers. Yes, it's been a few years since I made that trip. Life happens and I wasn't able to pursue photography for a few years.
This year, 2023, I'm at home for a while and getting back into processing. I'm glad I still have a lot of folders of images. Just returning to photo processing, I was amazed at how much Lightroom/ACR had improved with the new tools available.
I would not have seen these wildflowers had I not stopped and started exploring on foot. I was already on a small back road. I saw an unfenced area full of wildflowers and got out to start exploring. This is a small creek bed for rain runoff so I wouldn't want to be deep inside there if it were raining. That year there was a lot of rain which brought us bountiful wildflowers.

A beautiful flower that I find it suprisingly difficult to take a good picture of. This is the result after 10 minutes on my belly...
En vacker blomma som jag tycker det är förvånansvärt svårt att ta en bra bild av. Detta är resultatet efter 10 minuter liggandes på mage...
