Een half uur later volgde de beoogde lege zandtrein van Tågab, welke ongeveer van medio maart tot medio december rijdt behalve in de zomervakantie. Enige tijd terug heeft Tågab de zwaardere Rm-loccen overgenomen, waarbij er vijf van de zes nog in de oude blauwe SJ-kleurstelling rondrijden. De zilveren huisstijl kom je gevoelsmatig iets minder vaak tegen, maar gelukkig zat de ex-Oostenrijkse Rc2 008 in de zandomloop toen de lege 48803 langs de koolzaadvelden reed.
Half an hour later, Tågab followed with empty sand train 48803, which runs approximately from mid March to mid December except for the summer holidays. A while ago, Tågab took over the six slightly heavier Rm-locos from Green Cargo, of which five are still in the old blue SJ-colors. It gives the impression that you encounter the silver Tågab colors slightly less often, but fortunately, Rc2 008 was running the sand trains that week.

Nach dem Einsatzende bei den ÖBB im Jahr 2001 gelangten neun von zehn Loks der Baureihe 1043 nach Schweden zur Tågåkeriet i Bergslagen AB, wo heute immer noch sieben Loks, nun als Tågab Rc2 bezeichnet, ihren Dienst verrichten. Mit dem 48803 Bålsta - Kongsvinger ist die ehemalige 1043 008 auf der Värmlandsbanan bei Högboda auf dem Weg in Richtung Norwegen.
De laatste goederentrein van de dag liet helaas even op zich wachten. Omdat de schaduwen van de bomenrij achter ons toch behoorlijk duidelijk zichtbaar werden, waren we genoodzaakt om een stukje naar voren te verplaatsen ten opzichte van de vorige foto. Nadat hier positie ingenomen was, duurde het gelukkig niet lang meer voordat het geluid van een naderende goederentrein hoorbaar werd.
Tågab Rc2 010 (Voormalig ÖBB 1043 010) passeert de twee fotografen vlak voor Högboda, met een lege zandtrein als trein 48803 uit Balstå naar Gropa Grustak in Noorwegen toe. Hierna werd ingepakt en na het avondeten werd begonnen aan de reis naar een nieuwe regio in Zweden.

Een leuke vervoersstroom is het zandvervoer van Kongsvinger in Noorwegen naar Bålsta in Zweden met Tågab. Het rijdt twee keer per week van april tot december, met uitzondering van de Zweedse vakanties van begin juli tot medio augustus. Op 24 september is de 48803 ruim een half uur te vroeg met Rc2 010 op kop. Wat wolkenschaduw en een boompje achteraf weggepoetst.
A nice traffic relation is the sand traffic between Kongsvinger in Norway and Bålsta in Sweden with Tågab. The trains run twice a week from April until December, excluding the Swedish holiday from the beginning of July until mid August. On September 24th, the silver Rc2 010 hauls the empty 48803 to Norway half an hour early. Some cloud shadows and a tree were removed digitally.

Lufthansa Cargo McDonnell Douglas MD-11F D-ALCK ("Die dicke 11") is on short final for runway 25R.
This freighter (c/n 48803) was delivered to Boeing with the registration N9166N and came to LH Cargo with the new registration D-ALCK on 31.05.00.
This is flight LH8187 from Chicago (ORD).

This evening I was able to find out where I took this photo. Bing Maps offers an aerial view with a very good resolution ... In fact it was not taken in the Dohone area but a bit more in the East in the foothills of Jebel Bab.

Het Zweede TÅGAB heeft vijf voormalige ÖBB-locs serie 1043 in bezit, die in Zweden door het leven gaan als serie Rc2. Loc 009 heeft zojuist de stad met het hoofdkantoor van TÅGAB, Kristinehamn, achter zich gelaten met trein 48803 vanuit Bålsta naar Noorwegen. Vanuit Noorwegen vervoert de trein een soort grof zand, in de tegenrichting worden de bakken gebruikt om pallets met bouwmaterialen te vervoeren.
