Plymouth Citybus 467 (LX06 EYY), until recently Go-Ahead London E24, awaiting preparation for entry into service at Milehouse Depot, Plymouth, on 14-11-2018.

Am 01. Mai 2005 konnte ich die 218 467 mit einer Regionalbahn nach Füssen bei Igling aufnehmen. Damals waren diese Züge noch aus n-Wagen und einem Steuerwagen mit sogenanntem "Karlsruher-Kopf" gebildet. Die Loks der Baureihe 218 waren damals zwischen München und Buchloe allgegenwärtig und man überlegte sich gut, ob man überhaupt eine Aufnahme des teuren Dia-Films dafür opfern sollte. Heute ist man natürlich dafür dankbar, es doch getan zu haben. Die 218 467 war Zeit ihres Lebens bei der DB ausschließlich im BW Kempten beheimatet. Später trug sie dann noch eine auffällige Werbung für das Bayern-Ticket und war in hellblau gehalten. 2016 erfolgte die Ausmusterung. Allerdings gab es dann noch ein zweites Leben für die 1976 bei Krauss-Maffei gebauten Lok bei der MEG und aktuell beim Magdeburger Unternehmen Verkehrs Industrie Systeme GmbH.
On 1 May 2005, I was able to photograph the 218 467 on a regional train to Füssen near Igling. At that time, these trains still consisted of n-cars and a control car with a so-called ‘Karlsruher-Kopf’ (Karlsruhe head). The class 218 locomotives were ubiquitous between Munich and Buchloe at the time, and I had to think twice about whether it was worth sacrificing expensive slide film to photograph them. Today, of course, I am grateful that I did. Throughout its life with DB, 218 467 was based exclusively at the Kempten depot. Later, it carried eye-catching advertising for the Bayern-Ticket and was painted light blue. It was taken out of service in 2016. However, the locomotive, built by Krauss-Maffei in 1976, was given a second life at MEG and is currently in service at the Magdeburg-based company Verkehrs Industrie Systeme GmbH.

A recent development at Sutton has seen 484 go orange to join the Connect team for new services C1 and C2, seeing this Solo transfer back to it's home turf as an extra spare.
467 is seen on Sutton's longest route, the 141, having just left Nottingham with the mammoth two hour trek across to Sutton via Bestwood Village, Hucknall, Blidworth, Mansfield and Skegby.
