Hoosier Southern GP8 464 leads a string of NS interchange cars south outside of Lamar at a blistering 10 miles an hour. The HOS is an operation I've wanted to shoot for quite some time, and getting a heads-up that the GP8 would be leading the inbound train was just the push I needed to cross it off my bucket list.

Dne 11.9.2021 se konal RDŽ v Olomouci. Bylo vypraveno několik zvláštních vlaků okolo Olomouce. Do čela jednoho z nich se postavila parní lokomotiva 464.202 známá jako Rosnička, která si to žene se Zvl Sp 10863 do Přerova. Fotka byla pořízena v úseku Olomouc hl.n. - Grygov na trati 280 CZ.

Einen Regionalzug mit der 464 538 konnte ich im Abendlicht zwischen Salurn und Mezzocorona auf dem Weg nach Trento fotografieren.

I had given out the wrong information on the two previous American robin shots. Those were from the back yard. I thought the tree looked like ours and not like this one. I realized my mistake when I noticed the shots had been taken with the D7100. This American robin is not from the backyard and was taken with the S9700. As I mentioned I was glad I had a camera with me at the time.
