All the threating clouds did not produce a drop of rain. Such as it is in MS in the Summertime. Still muggy and just a tad warm.

I made a mistake two days ago, and this should rectify it. I ID'd a Black Phoebe as an Oregon Junco. I should have caught it just by the beak alone. All flycatchers - such as the phoebes - have flat beaks, whereas the Junco, a typical sparrow, has a conical beak. Don't need more than that until we get into the finches and sparrows and grossbeaks (which I've never seen). Anyway, here's a prize Phoebe from when I was able to climb the hills of Mt. Diablo. Nope, not sad. Just happy I had eight years of climbing to get these shots.
Oh, and by the way, that's a Jimson weed pod he's standing on. Couldn't have asked for a better perch.
Perfect consist of a fresh Zebra pair on the head end of this 14k ton iron ore train from Alzada, Manzanillo to Xoxtla, Pue, as they pass by cable nation on their way to Lecheria, where the train will receive a FSRR crew for it's trip to Puebla.
