Ferromex's Intermodal Mexico-Mexicali gets basked by the first sun rays as it does a slow climb up the Distrito Viborillas 2%+ grade.

With the early morning light barely starting to peak through the mountains, FXE's Intermodal Mexico-Mexicali is seen grinding the rail as it slowly climbs the grade behind an ES44/ACe combo.

I spent the better part of three hours today trying to get just one good shot of a Yellow-rumped warbler, and the only reason was to have one shot taken on February 29. I've never succeeded.
I forgot that the otters are back. Well, there's one otter that's back, and even he was making it difficult. I'm also wondering where the rest of the family is. For the past six years, there have always been four, but this is a loner.
