An interesting surprise to see a six car H set running this service. It is due to the strain on the current N set fleet, with the recent incident of a carriage catching fire. Otherwise this train is usually an N set per the schedule.

Seen working Rail Replacement services between Blackpool North station and Preston whilst the line is closed for electrification is one of Blackpool Transport's newest batch of Alexander Dennis Enviro 400 Cities. Seen at Blackpool North station is 455 - SN67WZW.

Recently completed roadworks have seen Hucknall Road altered to have some cycle lanes bunged in and a load of resurfacing done, which is a great improvement. Brown line E400 City 455 runs along the lovely, smooth tarmac with a 17 to Bulwell on 30.3.22
