Week 45/52
So she opens the closet. Slowly, as if any interference from the light outside might shed her secrets, let the thing she hold inside spill back into the real world. It’s amazing, how much of herself she is able to keep behind these small wooden doors, how something so unlike herself is stashed away. Remnants of the life she’s lived before, of the times she’s spent in California. Mementos, souvenirs from a life she doesn’t think she’ll ever go back to.
The black, wide section of lace falls into her hand, the texture grainy, harsh against the tips of her fingers. By feeling it against her skin again she can remember that night, so many lives ago, when she wrapped it around her face, around her hands and her midsection and her breasts and her legs — and allowed Penny to photograph her. She’d never had any issue with the fact that the other woman could use her photographs for an exhibit of some kind — she didn’t care. All she cared about was the way Penelope looked at her, her eyes lost between the viewfinder of the Hasselblad she carried around, and the vision of Betty, lying on the bed wearing nothing but the long piece of black lace.
She brings it up to her face, ihnaling the soft scent of her hands, of Penelope’s neck. She’s never washed it, afraid of losing that touch of realness, that physical proof that the love she’s felt has, in fact, been real.

This is a tiny bit taken out of my NaNo novel. I am so behind, it’s not even funny; as soon as I post this, I’m going back to writing like a maniac to reach AT LEAST 15k today. Seriously. I’m so behind.
I hope you guys have a fabulous weekend!
We found the manifest between Lehr and Wishek with a pair of SD45's and the chase was on. At 10 MPH it's pretty much shooting fish in a barrel. Even though the train was eastbound, the line twists around quite a bit so we were able to find some spots with nose light.
There are a lot of grades on the line so the SD's get a workout with a heavy train. It's quite the show.
EMD GP9 at the Bowest Yard, Dunbar, PA sometime in the 1970's. Built June 1957 with a high short hood. The hood was cut down in the early 1960's on all the WM GP9's. Later renumbered to WM 6420 to fit into the Chessie System numbering style. Traded in to EMD in 1980.

The KKG 45 (Kompakt Kader Gewehr - Translated to Compact Squad Rifle) was developed as a personal defence weapon for Tank Crews. Engineered to have a wide spread of bullets allowed suppresive fire against enemy forces. After the KKG's success with Tank Crews, It was used by the Luftwaffe, Fallschirmjägers (Serving with the FG 42), And was eventually adopted by the Wehrmacht in 1947. The KKG eventually phased the MP40 out of service.
Little is known about the design origins of the KKG, But it is beleived to have been a composite weapon, taking design aspects from the M1A1, Sten Gun, MP40 and MP44.

Done, and I made a Semi-Sten :3
Anyway, I had a MP 44 base, and just began adding parts, Et Voila. The KKG 45. I'm fond of the design and hopefully I'll make a couple more to give to my Wehrmacht soldiers

Break-action revolver chambered in .45 PSPC, manufactured by Precision Systems.
Designed for general use, ranging from law enforcement to competitive shooting. Its blocky structure provides good recoil dampening and general resistance.
Caliber conversions are available, covering the common calibers present in the market. The conversion is done by changing the cylinder and the front frame (which houses the barrel assembly) of the gun.
The .45 PSPC (Precision Systems Patented Caliber) is a scaled up version of .45 Long Colt, providing a bigger load, longer case and heavier bullet.
Priced at 1000 USD, the gun was met with attention from the civilian market, but the cost reduced its success. Law enforcement and security agencies from different nations opted to employ the gun using the capability of caliber conversion, making the .357 Magnum and its parent cases a famous choice for this weapon.
