Seit einigen Jahren kommen bei der S-Bahn München auch wieder etliche 420 zum Einsatz. Sie verkehren in festen Umläufen auf verschiedenen Linien, die S7 zählt aber leider nicht dazu. Wegen Bauarbeiten war am vergangenen Wochenende die Stammstrecke komplett gesperrt und die S2 aus Erding wurde ab Ostbahnhof zur S7 Richtung Kreuzstraße. Auf dieser Linie gab es auch ein paar 420 Umläufe, sodass ausnahmsweise auch auf der S7 mal wieder Altbaufahrzeuge fotografiert werden konnten.
Kurz vor dem Haltepunkt Dürrnhaar gibt es eine Reihe Obstbäume, die zusammen mit 420 448 + 450 als S 6574 (Markt Schwaben - Aying) aufgenommen wurden.
