Due to the Olympic Cycle Road Races held on 28th (Men's) and 29th (Women's), the main road through West Byfleet was closed, so the 446 had to take a very short diversion between Camphill Road and Station Approach via the eastern end of Madeira Road. Ordinarily, this wouldn't be a problem, but with the main road closed, quite a few cars were using the road, it is got a bit tricky sometimes.
This was on the Saturday, 28th July, after the men's race had passed. Abellio Surrey 8093 (KV03 ZFW) heads towards Woking. The trees were causing some issues, these two were OK but the bus had to clatter through the branches of the one behind me!
