The EMU 446-087 with a Cercanias train from the El Prat Airport to Mataro. This EMU has a little curiosity: the "C" of Cercanias in the front face has been "turned", looking up to the left, while the "C" of the sides still retain their original position. (Image scanned from an original paper).
When Wiltax bought Surrey Connect in May 2007, they didn't continue to run routes 426 and 446, so Travel London took over, taking on the five Mini Pointer Darts Surrey Connect had used on the route.
One of them was 8097 (YT51 EAA). They were all new to Connex in London.
Travel London's Surrey operations were later re-named to Travel Surrey (from 1 September 2007).
Then, in May 2009, National Express sold Travel London & Surrey to Abellio, part of Nederlandse Spoorwegen (the Dutch state owned rail company).
From 30 October 2009, Travel Surrey was re-branded to 'Abellio Surrey'.
The next change was Surrey CC bus review phase 1, effective from 28 August 2010. The 426 was withdrawn, replaced by the doubling of the 446 to half hourly and the diversion of the 557 from Addlestone to Woking.
The Ride Pegasus school bus operation had ended at the end of the school term in July 2010, and Abellio received 14 of the Surrey CC-owned 'Pegasus Darts'.
The five ex-Connex Darts, along with 8075-8085, were no longer required, and were returned off-lease.
