170622 Arriving at Manea with 1N41 05.27 Stanstead Airport to Birmingham New St Cross Country service on Wednesday 15th June 2022.
445 turns onto Bramcote Lane with a 36 to Chilwell on 3.6.22, captured in the short, sub-2 week window between it gaining the 'after 7pm' promotion to the n/s of the blind and the side branding being changed to both the 35 and 36.
Also it's lost both of its manufacturer badges off the front bumper.
Seen arriving at Birmingham Airport is National Express Coaches Caetano Levante III bodied Scania 445 - BV22VUA which was new to NX's Kings Ferry division in 2022 and operated for a short period of time before moving to Edwards to South Wales. They then moved on a lengthy loan to Bruce Coaches of Salsburgh pending delivery of their own vehicles. Now moved back to NX.

In 2017 DB was finally able to put these class 445 Bombardier Twindexx units into service after a number of delays. Up until this point double deck stock in Germany had always been loco hauled. With the arrival of classes 445 and 446 sets are now being formed with one of these power cars at either end. In Schleswig-Holstein these are used on services such as RE7 from Hamburg-Neumünster-Flensburg/Kiel.

445 sits at Beeston Interchange as it waits to continue its journey from Chilwell to Nottingham. The NCT timetable is rather rubbish here as the buses wait for an unnecessarily long time. The drivers usually shut off the engine and get out of the cab, as has happened here.
The AlightInBeeston sign is a relatively recent addition, following the Beeston light night event of the same name a few months back, but its location here at the interchange equally invites you to 'alight' from your bus/tram 'in Beeston' and see what the town has to offer.
