While visiting NRE in Silvis to inspect the Eldon, IA's GP7 purchase, we were allowed to tour the entire ex-Rock Island complex with an escort. There were several SOO GP38's in for rebuild/repaint. SOO 4434 was off it's trucks and receiving extra frame work in the heavy repair area.
