The thing that never fails to be seen in the Acultzingo district: Light engines.
Ferrosur runs several pairs of these moves a day, which are composed between 3 and 5 engines which all served as DP units for northbound trains to climb from Veracruz ports to Jesus de Nazareno, the highest point in the district.
The units are making their way back to either Veracruz ports or Tierra Blanca to keep trains moving.

There is a small horse ranch not far from me. Somedays I am lucky and can photograph these wonderful horses when they are out grazing and running around. In the Summer the horses are rode during polo matches. That I have yet to capture.
Old south end switch of the Mezquite siding, and a great looking Cementero Tepeaca-Coatzacoalcos moving again after meeting a Tehuacan bound grain train.

JAAROVERZICHT 2024
Voor november 2024 blikken we nog eens terug op de sfeervolle fotoavond die werd georganiseerd bij de brug in Balgerhoeke, over het Schipdonkkanaal.
Tijdens deze avond kwamen de 260.040 (ook bekend als 8040) met twee tremelwagens van het type Fcs, en motorwagen 4403 in actie. Beide voertuigen poseerden prachtig op de historische hefbrug, tot groot enthousiasme van de verzamelde fotografen.
De 4403 maakt deel uit van de motorwagenreeks 44, waarvan slechts tien exemplaren door de NMBS werden gebouwd als vervanging van de stoomtractie op secundaire spoorlijnen. Vandaag is de 4403, een van de vijf bewaarde exemplaren in België, in handen van het SCM.
Terwijl het binnenschip Agnes voor anker ligt en geniet van een rustige weekendpauze, rijdt de motorwagen net na het spitsuur vanuit Maldegem richting het station van Eeklo, met aan boord enkele late pendelaars.

For November 2024, we look back at the atmospheric photo evening organized at the bridge in Balgerhoeke, over the Schipdonk Canal.
During this event, the 260.040 (also known as 8040) appeared with two Fcs-type tremel wagons, alongside motor car 4403. Both vehicles posed magnificently on the historic lift bridge, much to the delight of the gathered photographers.
The 4403 belongs to the motor car series 44, of which only ten units were built by NMBS as a replacement for steam traction on secondary railway lines. Today, the 4403, one of five preserved examples in Belgium, is owned by SCM.
While the inland vessel Agnes lay at anchor, enjoying a peaceful weekend pause, the motor car departed Maldegem just after rush hour, heading toward Eeklo station with a handful of late commuters on board.
