New dress from Asda used the "click and Collect" service as they did not have my size left in store. Fabulous dress fits lovely. Will wear it out tomorrow when we go for a meal.
The early morning sun hasn't penetrated the valley floor yet as 435 loads some more passengers for the run to Huancayo.
Despite its name El Macho (so called because it comes home when it wants), this surprised me by running an hour early and hence me not being in position... As a result this shot was taken from a local cafe!
I usually neglect the 45s when I'm getting photos on this side of the city, so of late I've been making the effort to give them some attention. Here is 435, off up Milton Street on 21.3.22 as it gets going for Gedling.

Very surprised was I, to find these two old Zastava cars in a small garden, when I took a short cut, while I was walking through Trogir.
I never saw such a Zastava van before. It is based on the Fiat 900T. Who knows when it was produced?
Redhen 435 eneterd service for the SAR on 30-6-1971. Once withdrawn from service in approx 1995 it was sold to Redhen Rail tours and stored at Islington Works until getting sold again to the Yorke Peninsula tourist Railway arriving in Wallaroo on 27-1-2000. In April 2010 it was sold to Steamranger as a source of spares and is preserved as static display for part of art centre at Strathalbyn on 9-5-21

The sky blue livery on the 45s isn't as striking as some of the other colours you'll find on NCT's biogas E400 Cities, so in this scene in the shade it does kind of blend into the background a bit. 435 climbs Mansfield Road for a short distance out of Nottingham city centre on 9.9.23
