4270 hauls a demonstration good train into Kidderminster Town station during the Severn Valley Railway's End of Season Gala.
4270 was built in 1919 and withdrawn in 1962 after mostly working heavy freight services in the South Wales coalfields. It was rescued from Barry Scrapyard in 1985 and restored to service in 2014, 54 years after hauling its last train.

GWR 4270 2-8-0 Heavy Freight Tank, designed by Churchward and built in 1919, heads the 14:15 Heywood - Rawtenstall at Ewood Bridge in a heavy shower. Appropriately the first carriage is the GWR observation saloon.
