Mit einem Altmannzug aus Dingolfing war die RTB 186 425 im Abendlicht bei Himmelstadt im Maintal zu sehen.
Neben den Bayernbahn Ersatzgarnituren ist auch ein 425 der DB im Einsatz, welcher hier zwischen Harburg und Ronheim aufgenommen wurde.

Neben den beiden lokbespannten Garnituren der WEE ist auch DB Regio mit einem 425 im Ersatzverkehr auf der Riesbahn tätig. 425 052 war am 28.03.2023 als RB 57659 von Aalen nach Donauwörth unterwegs und wurde am Evsig Möttingen verewigt.
