FJ58 KXL. The bus scene in MK is quite boring with hardly any independents apart from a couple of Vale and Uno but at least there are a few Arriva Gemini's around...Aug 23 2021.

Violets

OK,anywone that knows me knows that I definitely do not have a green thumb!! These violets belonged to my late mother-in-law,who passed away the year before last.I think she is making sure that these grow like crazy for me to remind me of her. There are so many blooms on this plant and so many yet to open and I love the colour of these.

I have always had a tendancy to either forget to water plants or over-water them. But with these,I am on the ball, lol !! Any other plant you see in my home is totally fake...good fakes but fake none the less, lol.

Grazie per i fiori, Mamma.

Ti amo e mi manchi così tanto...baci <3

Marco - 2011

Nearing the end of a light overhaul in Wolverhampton Stafford Rd works is Churchward tank 4212 of 87B Duffryn Yard shed. 4212 was a locomotive that dated from August 1912, although getting this overhaul (photo 1st March 1959) it was withdrawn only 3 months later in June 1959, it was cut 28/02/1960.

The works was founded at Stafford Road by the Shrewsbury and Birmingham Railway in 1849, it was taken over by the GWR in 1854 becoming their Northern division works. Origianlly locomotive constuction and overhaul took place but constuction ceased in 1908. Overhauls continued until the run-down of steam rendered the works surplus and it closed on 11th February 1964 after it's final repair 2859 was outshopped, today the site is an industrial park.
