LA&L 418 and 420 are at the yard in Lakeville, NY on the morning of June 2, 2011. They would take the road train out that day with the 420 leading the way. Sadly the 418 is now OOS with a bent frame.
Seit einigen Jahren kommen bei der S-Bahn München auch wieder etliche 420 zum Einsatz. Sie verkehren in festen Umläufen auf verschiedenen Linien, die S7 zählt aber leider nicht dazu. Wegen Bauarbeiten war am vergangenen Wochenende die Stammstrecke komplett gesperrt und die S2 aus Erding wurde ab Ostbahnhof zur S7 Richtung Kreuzstraße. Auf dieser Linie gab es auch ein paar 420 Umläufe, sodass ausnahmsweise auch auf der S7 mal wieder Altbaufahrzeuge fotografiert werden konnten.
Kurz vor dem Haltepunkt Dürrnhaar gibt es eine Reihe Obstbäume, die zusammen mit 420 448 + 450 als S 6574 (Markt Schwaben - Aying) aufgenommen wurden.
Im Streiflicht passiert ein Vollzug auf der S4 die lange Kurve am Kottgeisering auf dem Weg nach München-Pasing. Im Hintergrund sind die Alpen zu erkennen.

El nombre real es el de playa de Aguas Santas y está situada en la parroquia de A Devesa (Ribadeo). Cuando más se puede disfrutar del paisaje es cuando la marea está baja porqué podemos caminar por la arena entre los acantilados.
En la bajamar, a través de unas escaleras se puede bajar hasta la arena y recorrerla de un lado a otro para ver las grietas, socavones y galerías de rocas que se han ido formando con la erosión del agua.
Dependiendo de la hora del día y lo bajo o alto que esté el sol, veremos como cambian los colores y las formas tan especiales, típicas de la costa gallega del mar Cantábrico.

LA&L 420 busts through the snow at the East River Road crossing in Henrietta, NY on February 3, 2021. The road train had 14 cars and engines 420 - 428 - 425.
Noch erbringen die Schweizer Lokomotiven der Reihe 420 alle Leistungen auf dem IC 4 zwischen Singen am Hohentwiel und Zürich HB, doch ab Fahrplanwechsel 2022/2023 wird sich dieses Bild ändern. Ab dann übernehmen Triebzüge des Typs "Kiss" von DB Fernverkehr auf dem gesamten Laufweg von Stuttgart bis Zürich. Nur noch wenige Züge am Tag werden im Schweizer Abschnitt mit den hübschen Loks der Reihe 420 bespannt. Am 22.10.2022 passierte Re 420 161, die letzte tannengrüne Re 4/4 || der SBB mit dem IC 185 nach Zürich HB das Zollhaus bei Rafz in der Schweiz.
