Most often in the WC years LO-42 from Marquette would arrive in the night Once the route was abandoned west of Munising Junction the eastbound would usually make a late afternoon arrival at Trout Lake depending on the work to be done on the trip east. This is a fairly large train LO-42 with 703 and 3012 leading 51 cars on March 24, 2001. Despite it's ragged appearance 703 was decent runner right up to the end of WC.

Getting my money's worth from this little jug of hydrangeas! Had a go at adding a texture layer. Not perfect but its late and I want a cup of tea now!

The lonely house

I just really liked the light, reflections, and the lower contrast in the shot. Feels light, soft, and peaceful to me.

One-of-a-kind MNNR 42 has detached from its train in the yard while switching. The yard was not too busy on this day, but these change change day-to-day. Nice not to have an intensely smokey sky for a change.
