El lugar es el claustro del Monasterio da Armenteira en Meis , Pontevedra, Galicia.
El monasterio tras la fundación original a mitad del siglo XII, paso rápidamente a pertenecer a la Orden Cisterciense, allá por 1162 denominándose Santa María de Armenteira.
El claustro actual es un conjunto construido entre 1575 y 1778 y
el monasterio se encuentra habitado por monjas cistercienses desde 1989.
"Cuenta la leyenda que Ero, su fundador, durante su larga estancia en el monasterio como abad se preguntaba a menudo sobre cómo sería el Paraíso y le rogaba encarecidamente a la Virgen que le dejara verlo. Así pues, un día, paseando por los bosques cercanos al monasterio, Ero quedó cautivado por el cantar de un mirlo y se sentó bajo un árbol para contemplarlo. Entró en un profundo trance en el que pasó trescientos años y al regresar al monasterio preguntó por los monjes y nadie pudo contestarle; entendió lo ocurrido y falleció en ese instante a los pies de los nuevos monjes del monasterio...."

Drift never learned to walk the stairs ... or was discouraged in a bad way -that's what I believe because he's scared to do so- ... ofcourse walking stairs as a puppy is never a good idea, but if you need your dog to shower it comes in handy ... I regularly practise with the stairs at the trainstation, and then try them at home ... at the station he walks them fine now (as shown here), but at home he does not want to ... it's been like that from day one, and he cannot be persuaded to do so ... perhaps at home they are too steep or too small ? ... when we had the livingroom plastererd we had to carry his 20 kilo wiggling butt four times a day to the second floor ...
