geek. Coz it's what i am. And it's the only thing i could think to take a picture of at the last minute. If i had a picture of what my schedule has been like this last week, i would have taken a pic of that. It's been crazy. And this morning included the 7am tech meeting, which meant getting up around 6:30 when my body just screamed at me not to get out of bed. I went to bed with my head spinning and my heart beating a lot harder than it probably should have... and i woke up the same way... seriously.. who needs drugs when you can get a strange feeling from being sleep deprived? Oh boy... my head has seriously been messed up all day... Part of it might be the uber tight ponytail my hair has been in all day.... yeah... definitely a contributing factor...
Anyway... even being so tired today, i went to Taco Bell with my friend Ashley from church after youth group got over... we met this kid that looked familiar to both of us. I don't know where i recognized him from, but he lives near where Ashley lives, which is how she recognized him. We had a pretty cool short conversation with him. Ashley told him that God really loves him, and he couldn't stop smiling the rest of the time we were there. It was awesome. I wish i could figure out how i know him from wherever it was i recognized him....

Yes, she has a vision and is ready to take on the quest to fulfil it.
A vision of discovery.
Discovery of hidden ducks and quail and BUNNIES….
Nestled, concealed and perfectly camouflaged amongst the long grass out at the lake.
A vision of the hold-your-breath anticipation, of the mad scramble, the ready-to-spring, the exhilerating bolt out of the gates, the excited spurt of the chase.
For the quest of digging deep into generations of collie genes, to round up anything possible.
When I spot her like this, I have a vision quest too.
A vision of other things, of not so much fun factors in the equation.
Of snakes and ticks and spiders also hidden deep in there.
Of substantially sized eels, making their way overland - yes, I've seen it - from one part of the lake to another.
Of empty, old sardine cans, once containing fishing bait, with rusty, sharp edges on the curled up, opened lids, that we often see along the shore, discarded by lazy, thoughtless human visitors.
Of old bits of tangled fishing line with the hooks still attached…
My quest is to keep her outta there !
I dedicate this picture to all those women that despite the darkness of the forest, in themselves find strength and happiness. Happy Women's Day.

Dedico esta foto a todas aquellas mujeres que a pesar de la oscuridad del bosque, en ellas encuentran fortaleza y felicidad. ¡Feliz día de la mujer!

Did a ride in my favourite area of the County with its beautiful tree canopy. I decided to go colour this time.
Kara: But you have to let us in! I have a little girl with me.
Alice: Please, mister? I don't want to die!
Soldier: You're not on the list. You don't get in.
Luther: It's no use. He's going to let us all die.
