218 419 hat mit RB 27015 soeben ohne Halt den Bahnhof Weidenbach an der Strecke München - Mühldorf durchfahren. In Weidenbach halten nur noch wenige Züge am Tag, für die Güterzüge ist es aber ein wichtiger Kreuzungsbahnhof. Als erhöhter Fotopunkt diente hier mal nicht das Hochstativ, sondern die vor einigen Jahren neu errichtete Straßenbrücke, von dieser nun der Blick von oben auf Weidenbach möglich ist. Dafür lässt sich leider das Esig aus Richtung Mühldorf nicht mehr umsetzen, denn es befindet sich direkt vor der neuen Brücke.

Raildox ist in letzter Zeit nahezu täglich im Altmühltal zu sehen. Am 27.5. war 185 419 mit einem Kesselzug bei Hagenacker nordwärts unterwegs.
Mit einem Kesselzug aus Vohburg war die Raildox 185 419 hier soeben aus dem Esslingerbergtunnel gefahren und ist unterwegs Richtung Treuchtlingen.

Mojave Northern's morning job returns from Black Mountain Quarry with loads for its cement plant in Victorville, CA. On point is SWPC SD40-2 #415. This morning was much bigger success than the last time I saw MN’s morning op, which had their KLW SE32C #419 for power, and was only able to shoot their long hood forward run to the mine. #415 can also be seen sporting its old “SWPC” nose logo, from when the railroad was operating under the Southwestern Portland Cement Company.
