El nombre real es el de playa de Aguas Santas y está situada en la parroquia de A Devesa (Ribadeo). Cuando más se puede disfrutar del paisaje es cuando la marea está baja porqué podemos caminar por la arena entre los acantilados.
En la bajamar, a través de unas escaleras se puede bajar hasta la arena y recorrerla de un lado a otro para ver las grietas, socavones y galerías de rocas que se han ido formando con la erosión del agua.
Dependiendo de la hora del día y lo bajo o alto que esté el sol, veremos como cambian los colores y las formas tan especiales, típicas de la costa gallega del mar Cantábrico.
La “messa a dimora” del famoso Pino risale al 1598 ed è voluta dal Cardinale Evangelista Pallotta, una delle figure più importanti della dinastia Marchigiana, per celebrare l’evento più importante della storia del Castello Pallotta: l’arrivo di Papa Clemente VIII (al “secolo” Ippolito Aldobrandini) a Caldarola e la sua sosta proprio nelle sale del Castello.
D&H C-420 #417 leads the Guilford/D&H Sealand stack train at Browns Crossing, NY in the Canisteo Valley on April 19, 1986. I intended to chase this train a good distance, but when I got up near Hornell an Eastbound went by led by two NYSW C-430's. I turned around and chased that train back through the Canisteo Valley.

New England Central locomotive 417, a GP40-2 rests quietly at the CSOR shops in Hartford. Behind it is CSOR 2038 which was built in 1969 as a Southern GP 38 high hood. The red and white safety stripes on 417 reveal its former FEC heritage.
417 was a vehicle I’d been wanting a better photo of, as the only decent shot I had of it was taken in 2018 (plus a crap one a year later). While this isn’t an amazing photo, for the sole purpose of documenting 417 it does the job adequately.

The image shows three nebulas in the constellation Auriga that are between 1500 ly and 19000 ly away from us. The nebula at the top is called the Spider Nebula (IC417, 9500 ly). The one at the right is the Flaming Star Nebula (IC 405, 1500 ly). The nebula at the left (IC 410, 19000 ly) contains the famous two "Tadpoles" that are dense aggregations of cosmic dust.
The image is an integration of 300 images shot in 2016 with a small 480 mm apochromatic refractor and my stock Pentax K3 ii in "normal light" (as the underlying mosaic) and about 100 images of the nebulas themselves shot some days ago with the same camera but a bigger 910 mm refractor. The special thing is that a filter was used in the actual images that only lets through the wavelength of red emissions that are caused by the radiations of high active stars in the cosmic gas clouds (H-Alpha filter). The H-Alpha data reveal more structure in the most cosmic nebulas. The filtered image data were then blended with the mosaic image in form of a so called Ha-RGB image.
