As we were Driving to Phoenix, we stopped In Durango to get food on June 9th at 1:00 PM in the Afternoon. As soon as we left we wanted to check out the Durango and Silverton Railroad Roundhouse in Durango. When we saw the gates where closed and the carriages where at the station with no Coal Burning Steam Locomotives and then we realize that the “416” was near the path to pulling the train to Silverton.🔥
After the trip to Phoenix we saw that the 416 Fire got even bigger than how it was before!
So a message to all who lives in Durango and up north to Silverton. We Pray for you all!

The ancient castle called 'Alte Burg', on a hill near the historic town of Gmünd, in the state of Carinthia in Austria, preserves a restaurant inside the ruins. This is a way to revive the charm of the medieval era to tourists passing through who visit the city mainly for the Porsche museum, an authentic icon of the Carinthian place.

La 269.416 por aquellos días recién salida del taller de pintura con el esquema de Grandes Líneas, al frente del extinto Diurno, ahora denominado Intercity, procedente de Irún con destino a Vigo a punto de efectuar su paso por la estación de Chapela en una juvenil toma, cuando uno se metía por donde hiciese falta con tal de conseguir y descubrir nuevos encuadres y ubicaciones.

L'E655 416 è tornato in servizio il 6 febbraio 2020 in livrea originale ed è stato formalmente assegnato a Napoli Centrale. Unità storica di Genova (DL Brignole e poi, dal 2001, Rivarolo per Trenitalia Cargo) ed è a tutti gli effetti un falso storico siccome ha ricevuto la livrea XMPR quando era ancora E656 (prima del cambio dei rapporti di trasmissione con quelli più corti tipici degli E655 nel 2003). Inoltre non è previsto il ripristino dei rapporti di trasmissione originali, e sono state rifuse anche le targhe andate precedentemente rubate con la dicitura E655 (altro falso storico). Manca anche la scritta del deposito di assegnazione, oltre al vomere dipinto di nero invece che a strisce gialle e nere come da prassi.
È stato fermo qui dall'8 al 16 luglio 2020 per via dell'interruzione a Santa Maria la Bruna: insomma, se la politica attuata negli ultimi 20 anni dalle giunte regionali e comunali che si sono succedute fosse stata differente, la Torre Annunziata-Cancello sarebbe ancora aperta e il Caimano avrebbe potuto proseguire per Napoli via Terzigno. E ciò è soltanto fonte di amarezza.

Registered in.....Huddersfield I think? Wikipedia says -HD hasn't been used since 1995, but then again, it is Wikipedia. On SORN/without an MOT since 2011. Must say, didn't look too bad for over a decade off the road.
The once 37 thousand of these in 1999 in I spec seems to have been reduced to a mere 50, and that number is gradually getting lower.
This has since been scrapped (thank god)
Looking the opposite direction from my previous post today of CP 481 is this view of 416 twisting downhill thru the reverse curves lead by 5628.

Sadly scrapped shorty after this photo. It broke down at the roundabout and had to be towed away so I guess whatever went wrong proved terminal.

This locally-registered example looks to have an interesting history. It had an MoT back in 2007 then wasn't put in for another one until early 2024. So 16-17 years in storage. There are advisories on the MoT for the tyres being between 22 and 24 years old....

In the company of a Volvo 7900 Hybrid here's Volvo B5TL, Euro 6 /Wright Gemini 3 fleet number 416 (BN64 CRV). Twenty five of these (401 to 425) were introduced during the Christmas season in 2014 and this was the first time we'd see the new glass staircase with many new features although, for one more time, the 'curvy' body top would be retained.
The buses in this new 'state-of-the-art' design were specified to Lothian’s exacting standards and include a dedicated wheelchair and buggy area, coloured LED destination information display equipment, Wi-Fi, a CCTV system and the distinctive full length glass feature on the exterior of the staircase as per a demonstrator bus earlier that year (number 286).
416, like all of this group of twenty-five now, has had its screen revamped to the simplified type of all newer vehicles though the font is perhaps more retro. Both this group and the fifty Hybrids (as behind) wear the similar interface.
