Uncommon where I live, this guy or a relative showed up again this fall at a local park. I'd never seen one till last year, and I really worked to get a decent shot. This year, he brought a friend - made it a little easier.

Chessie Cat 4150 leads RS97 at the unprotected crossing at Sheffer Road in Wheatland, NY on May 5, 1980. I was using two cameras at the time, one with color film and the other with B&W. I took a fair number of photos of the area Chessie trains in B&W.
