These handsome diving ducks belong to the sawbill family, named for their serrated bills, used for catching fish. Their diet of fish like Salmon and Trout has brought them into conflict with game fishermen. At home on both fresh and saltwater, Red-breasted Mergansers are most commonly seen around the UK's coastline in winter. They are very sociable, forming flocks of several hundreds in the autumn.

A pair of Watermelon ACe's head light power to Valle de Mexico after dropping off their train in one of the several newly created sidings on Ferrovalle territory. On the lead is an Ex-Elephant Ear equipped ACe that was originally intended to be used on Ferrosur, but these units along side their modifications failed terribly and were sent to FXE in exchange of more ES44's for FSRR.

Overnight Snow fall on Little Goose Creek - Little Goose Creek is located in Little Goose Canyon. The road to the canyon begins on WY335, which is several miles from the town of Big Horn heading to the Bighorn Mountains. I like the Snow Dog at the middle right of the photo with its' tail raised straight up.
