Echoes of the past in the form of three GP9RM units, CN 4130, 4134 and 4140, working hard up the grade from Komoka leading eastbound CN #509. The picture was taken from the Frank Lane wooden trestle bridge.

Canforce 4130 about to land on runway 23 at Glasgow after flying from Rome. It later departed for CFB Trenton. The aircraft is a CC-150 Polaris, the Royal Canadian Air Force's designation for their 5 Airbus A310-300s. It's operated by 437 Transport Squadron, based at CFB Trenton. One Polaris (15001) is currently used for VIP transport, including for the Canadian Prime Minister. 15001 was in the news recently after developing a technical fault in India while Prime Minister Trudeau was attending the G20 summit. The Polaris will soon disappear from the RCAF fleet as they are about to be replaced by Airbus CC-330 Huskies (Airbus A330-200 MRTT).

It's always nice to see a CN GP9, albeit rebuilt, leading. Here eastbound train #L583 approaches Ingersoll, on CN's Dundas sub., led by GP9RM 4130 and GP38-2 4713.
