Nur sehr sporadisch wird das Ladegleis in Dethlingen, an der OHE Strecke Munster(Örtze) - Beckedorf bedient. Am 31. August 2022 bestand jedoch Bedarf, 3 beladene Wagen wurden von 4125 007 abgeholt und weiter nach Hannover-Linden befördert.

I was milling around with a few other folks watching the activity at the river crossing late this afternoon. The action was pretty intense about now. There were horses in the trees behind me, bands of horses across the river, in the river, down the river. There was a lot going on and it was tough to decide what to focus on. Someone nearby said something like, "uh oh, trouble coming, look out behind you". I whirled around and pointed the camera, just in time to watch the chestnut body-slam and then kick at the gray. Geez.
Looking at the gray now, and the Righty gray in my post from yesterday, it's conceivable it's the same horse as this image is about 20 minutes before the gray pair posted yesterday. If that's so, then in the image from yesterday Lefty could be saying to Righty "Good job, you held your own against that rambunctious body-slammer." Furthermore, I'm elated I got any pics at all of this - straight into the setting sun practically. Lucky camera settings...

This magnificent Ginko tree dates to the mid-ninteenth century. Located on the Tuebner/Husmann/Kallmeyer farm just east of Hermann, Missouri, it was planted by George Husmann, a major player in the wine business in Hermann and Bluffton, Missouri, and the Sedalia area before moving on to California where he was instrumental in the beginnings of the Napa Valley wine country.
Am 31. August 2022 hatte 4125 007 Dienst im Nahgüterdienst auf dem OHE Netz. In Dethlingen wurden dabei einige mit Holz beladene Snps abgeholt und in Munster einige Flachwagen. Hier erreicht die Übergabe grade den Bahnhof Trauen, wo es ebenfalls noch einige weitere Flachwagen einzusammeln galt.
Matched pair of "Southern Belles" leads westbound manifest at Minnesota City. It's past sundown but I couldn't pass up the chance to shoot this.
In March 2005, Georgia Northeastern 4125 is in charge of a short train in Marietta, Georgia. She was built 2/1962 as Southern Pacific GP20 7207, later rebuilt to GP20E standards and renumbered SP 4125. Sometime after this shot was made, she became Kiski Junction Railroad (KJR) 2006.
