The NJ Transit Aqua Train heads up the Bergen Line with F40PH-2CAT #4120 leading at Garfield, New Jersey. I decided to venture out again after thanksgiving to capture this unique leader on this job, and managed to get it on a different line (11/29/24).

Headed down Great Northern Hill with a unit train of double stackers. This train had one unit on the point and one DPU. A serious mortgage lifter.

Copped Hall night photography just last Monday - a star trail over the racquets court. Only a small trail (4 minutes worth) because there was so much else to look out for.
The Aqua Train on Lake Tabor, led by NJ Transit F40PH-2CAT #4120, unit classic to Jersey that I photographed many times over the years, but never in non-revenue service until now. After spending spring in Europe and summer in California, this holiday season marks my first time back in my home state in over nine months. It feels fitting to reconnect with such an iconic piece of home on my return (11/27/24).
