Built for Lee and Opal Smith around 1954. They had one son, Roger and one daughter, Sally. This house was built on a lot that was low and soft. It has had some problems with sinking and cracking of the foundation in its short life. Later, the Smiths built a new house in Barrington Hills on Buckley Road. Mr. Smith was an executive for Jewel Tea Co. They now live in Florida. 12-27-1993
