Former Southern Railway GP38-2 #5255 is 40 years old this month and has been repainted by current owner Indiana Eastern (although I'm told a nose emblem is still in the works.) Here the old highhood is working east on former C&O trackage just past the Ohio border on its way to Fernald, Ohio.
Wisconsin & Southern (Watco) SD40-2 4170 has been painted by NRE-Silvis to honor the railroad's 40th Anniversary. It is seen here on the BNSF interchange track in East Moline, IL.

The color on this Lamborghini is really amazing!
This is the former Racine & Southwestern and the line was all but dead 40 years ago, weeds higher than your knees, rails rusted. Fast forward to when this photo was taken in 2020 who would have believed this line is active and loads of grain get pulled out every day, this is the former Racine & Southwestern at Darien, WI. The bridge once read "The Milwaukee Road".
This request was my first ''Ski'' cake, i did try having the Figure standing, but it wasn't happening, I remembered seeing a ''ski cake'' afew weeks ago by cakesbysugargirl which had the Skiers sitting down, thankfully claudia was so kind and let me use her wonderful design :

This card is for my aunt & uncle's 40th anniversary that is being celebrated today...I am truly inspired by those who love each other & spend the remainder of their lives as one. Stamps used: Bird Branch Alphabet, Clear Design Favorite Journal, Sparkle Clear Cupcakes (used on light pink butterfly) & Purple Onion Designs Blossom Set used for stems & the small Broken15 Alphabet (used for #40).

I made this for a good friend at work. She wanted a girly cake with a purse, shoes and make-up. She's also into purple and zebra stripe. So put them all together, and....
One of my co-workers recently turned 40, so I made him this bouquet (and I admit, arranging cookies is not my strong suit!). The "gray hare" idea came from Cookies by Design, and I ran with that theme. His young children were thrilled with the cookies, and the parents were able to use them as bribes to get the children out of bed in the morning!
Flash back... Hard to believe the contemporary Barbie is now 20 years old.
This fashion was available in the states, as I have it on a peachy-orange color. I don't think I ever had a playline with the sculpted bangs like this particular doll.

I have made this cake for my parents, who are celebrating their 40th anniversary tomorrow. It astounds me that they have been married for that long! They are an inspiration, and I hope that my hubby and I can achieve the same. They are an amazing team, but unfortunately my mum carries the load these days after my dad was diagnosed with Alzheimers Disease at the age of 59. She is now Dad's primary carer, which is a tough job, especially when she is fighting her own battle with breast cancer, which was diagnosed just a couple of weeks ago. My Mum's strength just blows me away!

A trio of Maine lobster photos (1 of 3)! For their 40th anniversary, Route 1 mainstay restaurant, Taste of Maine, decided to add a 70 foot long inflated lobster to their roof! It is so eye-catching that they needed to post a sign, advising people to refrain from stopping on the road! Seen in Woolwich, Maine, USA, during my June, 2018 visit. A note from the restaurant's Facebook page: "In honor of our 40th anniversary, “Larry the Lobster’s” arrives Wednesday May 2nd! Larry is the world's largest inflatable lobster, at 70 feet long and 12 feet high!"

Perth Amboy, NJ
NJ Transit's 40th Anniversary excursion, led initially by 4636 (playing homage to the GG1 electrics that once plied this territory) and 4640 (referencing the E60 electrics that later took over for them), heads south toward Perth Amboy station. This excursion would re-enact the South Amboy engine change shortly after, handing control over to diesels.
