In a light rain, M280-15 passes through the continually-gentrifying Sawyer Yards area on UP's Houston Sub M1.
The brand-new apartment complex at left is just about fully constructed, adding nicely (IMO) to this alley-like scene.

Op 21 maart 1989 haalde DE-loc 2257 ICM-stel 4078 op uit Aken. Tr. 36524 naar Maastricht rijdt Simpelveld binnen.
Lots of photos of a local rarity. (possibly the prettiest portrait, shows the white feathers seen on the outside of its tail in flight, too.)
I knew from reports (print, people I knew) that there was one in a local birding spot. Made some tries and never saw it. I heard it had been seen somewhere different in the afternoon. Was in the area, so pulled into a parking spot, and it flew over the car and up into the tree to my left. Cool, gray bird! It was in the area for 30 minutes, in beautiful afternoon light (not 'golden hour' but the hour before.)
I have loved this species for years - saw it when camping in the mountains as a girl - and saw them in the mountains in Oregon one trip - but no good pictures, before.
Bij aankomst op het Aziëhaven emplacement van de Houtrakpolder trof de huisstijl 6702 de elektrische huisstijl variant van RFO welke een staalplakken trein had aangebracht.

NS Flirt treinstel 2513 als LM (ledig Materieel) 89415 (dank Sionrail) onderweg van Zutphen naar Eindhoven en vanwege werkzaamheden te Arnhem moet ie een omweg via Deventer - Amersfoort en Utrecht nemen.
Zodoende een Flirt treinstel op een ongebruikelijke plek.
Inmiddels is de "Verfdokter" (www.verfdokter.com/) bezig om een fraaie muurschildering op grijze wand perron 1/2 aan te brengen, op perron 3/4 is een fraaie muurschildering gereed en afgebeeld is de watertoren aan Vaartsche Rijn.

I wanted to make larger than life (8 x 10 foot) print of this made up, but after a bit of research it seems I'll have to settle for a 5 × 7 foot print, since the large format printers at most print-shops are limited to 64" roll stock printers.
